Financial Forecasting Certification Program
Build practical budgeting skills through hands-on experience and real scenario work
Our eight-month program runs from September 2025 through April 2026. You'll work with actual financial data, learn to spot trends before they become problems, and develop frameworks that help businesses make smarter decisions about money.
What You'll Actually Learn
We break the program into four phases. Each one builds on what came before, so you're not drowning in theory without context. Most participants find the third phase challenging—that's where pattern recognition starts to click.
Financial Foundations
8 weeks · September-October 2025
We start with the basics because everyone comes in with different backgrounds. You'll work with balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports until reading them feels natural.
- Reading financial statements without getting lost
- Spotting inconsistencies in reported data
- Understanding how different departments affect budgets
- Building your first simple forecast model
Pattern Analysis
8 weeks · November-December 2025
Now things get interesting. You'll learn to recognize patterns in financial data—seasonal trends, growth indicators, warning signs. We use real company data from Philippine businesses.
- Seasonal variation analysis
- Identifying leading vs lagging indicators
- Working with incomplete or messy data
- Creating visual reports that executives understand
Forecasting Methods
8 weeks · January-February 2026
This is where most students struggle at first. We teach multiple forecasting techniques—some simple, some complex. You'll learn when to use each one and how to explain your choices.
- Time series analysis for budget planning
- Regression models that work in practice
- Scenario planning for uncertain markets
- Building flexible forecast templates
Applied Projects
8 weeks · March-April 2026
Final phase focuses on application. You'll work through complete forecasting projects from start to finish, dealing with real constraints like incomplete data and changing assumptions.
- Full-cycle budget development
- Presenting forecasts to stakeholders
- Adjusting models based on feedback
- Documentation that others can use

Learn from People Who've Done This Work
Our instructors have spent years working with budgets in different industries. They've made mistakes, fixed problems, and figured out what works. That practical experience shapes how they teach.

Works primarily with retail and distribution companies. She teaches pattern recognition and has a talent for spotting trends others miss.

How the Program Actually Works
Classes meet twice weekly in the evenings—Tuesdays and Thursdays, 7-9 PM. You'll need about 8-10 hours per week for coursework outside of class time.
Foundation Building
We start slow because rushing through basics creates problems later. Most assignments involve analyzing existing financial reports and identifying what information matters most.
- Weekly case studies
- Data interpretation exercises
- Group discussions
Model Development
You'll build several forecasting models from scratch. Some will work well, others won't—that's part of learning what techniques fit different situations.
- Hands-on model building
- Peer review sessions
- Error analysis work
Capstone Project
Final project involves creating a complete budget forecast for a real business scenario. You'll present your work and defend your methodology choices to instructors and peers.
- Independent research
- Full forecast creation
- Formal presentation
